This past Christmas I received a very inspiring journal from a dear friend. Gratitude. Perhaps sparked by a recent conversation with this friend, I wrote my first entry on February 3, 2013. The journal asked me to pick out 3 things in my day that were beautiful. Here is my list:
1 - Sermon on compassion - Nonviolence without compassion is weak and cowardly.
2 - Snowflakes.
3 - Laughing.
The lens of life.

Interstate art
This is what I love about driving down the interstate! Not only do I love to drive to clear my mind, but driving also reminds me that art is everywhere. This was an ad for RVs off I-4 in Florida, one exit before I-75. I have seen this for the past few years, since I started to drive on my own to my family's annual trip to Ft. Myers Beach. This year I decided it was time to take the risk and pull over to take a photo. I was slightly nervous because the grass was high and I just knew I was going to come across a snake, not to mention this is right off the interstate. Here I am, nervous for the cars and trucks zooming by and fearing a snake will bit me. I snapped the photo from a few various angles and got out of there within minutes. I am so glad I took this photo because it brings me so much inspiration. There are a number of ways that I would love to edit this photo and when I do, I will post it!
